eCON-R
eCON-R is the service provided by Entaksi Solutions for the preservation in compliance with law of born-digital documents related to waste management and managed through the RENTRI web portal.
Who is it for?
The eCONR service allows Customer to preserve in compliance with law all electronic documents
related to waste managed through the RENTRI portal.
In addition, the service provides the ability to use document preservation features in SaaS mode,
to be able to search and view the preserved documents.
The features of the eCON-R service are:

to upload electronic documents along with their index through the acquisition of the Submission Information Package (SIP)

to issue the digitally signed and timestamped Confirmation of Receipt;

to execute the preservation process, which includes the creation of the Archival Information Package (AIP) and the generation of the index according to the UNI 11386:2020 SiNCRO standard, the application of a digital signature and timestamp, the storage of the Archival Information Package on media with features of high reliability and high permanence of the data, and the extension of signature’s validity until the end of the retention period, which is set at three years (as required by D. Lgs. 152/2006, Codice dell’ambiente, art. 193 comma 2.), with the option to extend the retention period upon the Customer’s request;

the ability to view search results, access previews of preserved documents, and request the download of the Dissemination Information Package (DIP) for the documents found in the search, these packages contain a copy of the preserved documents along with the preservation index, digitally signed and timestamped to ensure both authenticity and legal value that can be opposed to third parties. The preservation service provided by Entaksi ensures the long-term legal validity of electronic documents;

(optional) the provision of the assisted writing service for the digital preservation manual.
The Entaksi Solutions Preservation System complies with what is defined in the "Guidelines on the formation, management and preservation of IT documents" and in the "Regulation on the criteria for the provision of IT document storage services" issued by AgID, which supervises in compliance with the quality and safety criteria of qualified preservation service providers..
The System complies with the standards required by legislation, such as:

ISO 27001 for information security, including ISO 27017 extensions, with information security controls specific to the cloud, ISO 27018, with controls on the protection of personal data in the cloud, and ISO 27035 for the management of security incidents;

ISO 9001 standard for quality management;

ISO 20000-1 standard for managing the provision of services;

ISO 22301 standard for business continuity management;

ISO 14721 OAIS standard which defines the Open Archival Information System, and the UNI 11386 SInCRO standard for archival package index descriptive structure;

the ETSI EN 319 401 and ETSI TS 119 511 standards, which define the requirements for the provision of the long-term preservation service for electronic signatures and seals.
The physical components of the storage system are divided into servers located in various
geographically distributed datacenters.
Entaksi uses redundant systems to ensure business continuity and pays particular attention to data redundancy,
which are distributed over several geographically distant sites with an equal role, or which can operate
either as a primary site or as a disaster recovery site interchangeably.
The sites which host the preservation system information are located within the European Union,
in full compliance with the law.
The data transmission, both between the systems and towards the users' operating stations, takes place by
encrypted protocols, with the use of asymmetric keys based on qualified certificates issued by recognized Authorities.
In order to allow the best integration with the management environment used by the customer, Entaksi has developed a set of APIs in eCON service which allows the execution of all the functions connected to the preservation process, without abandoning the management application context, in a completely transparent way for the final user.
The Entaksi Console web interface allows the Customer :

to request the digitally signed and time-stamped Confirmation of Receipt

to perform searches in the preservation system;

to view the search results;
-
to request Dissemination Information Package (DIP) for the documents found in the search;

to download the requested Dissemination Information Package.
Commercial information
The eCON-R service is provided for an annual fee, which can be divided based on the total amount, and includes the cost of the timestamps used during the preservation process.
The fee is determined based on the amount of space occupied by the documents being preserved (ranging from 1 GB to 100 GB) and the number of users accessing the service (ranging from 1 to 1,000 users).
eCON-R also optionally includes the provision of the assisted writing service for the digital preservation manual, which is further divided into two category: basic and advanced.
