The new service for the management of the Advanced Electronic Signature
In the increasingly widespread context of the dematerialisation of document processes, the signature gains
a particularly important role.
While the use of natively digital or digitized documents is now common practice, the signature,
which represents its proof of validity, still remains a particularly uncertain and often incomprehensible moment.
In reality, the affixing of the electronic signature is a key step to confer legitimacy to the document,
and it is not replaceable by improvised fixes such as analog signature scans.
The advanced electronic signature (AES) represents the right choice to obtain the validity of documents for probative purposes. EU Regulation no. 910/2014 (eIDAS) clearly defines the requirements of an advanced electronic signature in article 26, that means:
-
it must be linked only to the signer;
-
it is suitable to identify the signer;
-
it is created using data in order to create an electronic signature that the signer can use under his exclusive control with a high security level;
-
it is linked to the subscribed data in order to allow the identification of any subsequent modification of this data.
The eSIGN service proposed by Entaksi identifies the signer through the collection of information relating to the identity card and mobile phone, and uses the latter as an authentication tool at the signing time.
eSIGN aims to combine the legal validity of the advanced electronic signature with an acquisition process
that is accessible and convenient for the end user.
The service allows you to define specific documents templates, to select signature workflows, to determine
one or more signatories, to monitor the process progress, to obtain documents with legal value.
In addition to the management of the signature, the service allows you to complete the document management with their preservation, in the certified preservation system.
